Race car Preparation by AUTOMECH

At Automech, we provide a unique Race Car Preparation service, allowing you to concentrate on winning your race while we take care of your car.

We have 20 year's experience of Race Car Preparation. Our Race Car Preparation expertise goes back to pre Automech days, to 1969 in fact when partner Dave Fairclough started his career with Chevron Race Cars of Bolton and where he spent many years building, preparing and maintaining Chevron race cars for Brian Redman, John Watson, Peter Gethin, John Lepp, Jim Crawford and John Bridges amongst others.

In 1978 Dave also turned his Race Car Preparation skills to saloon car racing with great success, preparing cars for Alan Minshaw and Dave "Jess" Yates who won the Uniroyal Production Saloon Car Championship in a Fairclough prepared car.
